Our Story

Bat Country Crafts was born from a love of all things handmade and a deep appreciation for the ingenuity and resilience of American artisans. HT, your host, is a lifelong Oregonian with a passion for DIY and a knack for turning everyday objects into extraordinary creations, founded the company in 2019.

Inspired by the rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the vibrant creative community in Portland, we began experimenting with different materials and techniques, crafting unique pieces that reflected the spirit of the region.  Friends and family were quick to admire our creations, and soon, requests for custom pieces started pouring in. What began as a hobby quickly blossomed into a full-fledged business.

With the support of a small but dedicated team of fellow artisans, Bat Country Crafts was officially launched, offering a curated collection of handcrafted goods that celebrate American craftsmanship and the natural wonders of Oregon. From our humble beginnings in a garage workshop to our current state-of-the-art studio, we've stayed true to our roots, sourcing materials locally whenever possible and partnering with other Oregon-based businesses.
